At our Dojo you will learn the Martial Art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and the subsequent arts that compose it.

you will be urged to train with others from within the Bujinkan community and as such deepen your understanding of the art.

We are not a “Sport Martial Art” and our focus is on both combat application and spiritual refinement.

As such the “Warrior’s Creed” Robert Humphrey of the Bujinkan should always attempt to be adhered to.

The Warriors Creed:

Wherever I walk,
everyone is a little bit safer because I am there.

Wherever I am,
anyone in need has a friend.

Whenever I return home,
everyone is happy I am there

-Robert L. Humphrey

Bujinkan History and Tradition

Bujinkan history is long and goes back to oral tradition, with some of the oldest recorded arts in Japans history.

We can call upon this history to find similarities in what we see today, and methods for employing the same techniques that are still effective in combat to this day.

Practicing these Kata will also deepen the students understanding of seemingly complex movements in a way that becomes manageable mentally within the timings of a fight situation.
